| Rimsky Toussaint was born in Haiti and raised in Brooklyn NY. He resided with his parents, Jean L. & Marie F.Toussaint, and seven brothers and sisters Rhubens, Gregory, Cheraky, Marie Dina, Medine, Fedalefils and Cassandra. After seeing numerous friends die and sent to prison from gang violence, he heard God's calling and accepted Christ as his personal Savior. He immediately attended a Bible Institute (Centre D'Etude) based in Brooklyn, NY.
In 1994, he founded Rimsky Toussaint Ministries, Inc. a non-profit, non-denominational organization, whose mission is to reach and empower youths from all levels and walks of life to live zealously for God and build a strong career geared towards a better future.
Rimsky Toussaint has been married for five years and has one child. Currently, he is working on obtaining a Th.M. from St. John's University.
For the past several years, RTM has successfully helped many young Haitian-Americans abandon the violent street life and live a better and more secure lifestyle through Christ. RTM's vision is to provide a wide range of services and activities to impact our neighborhoods and to address the christian, educational and social problems that plague the Haitian-American community.
RTM has organized youth events throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Boston, Florida, Washington DC, Haiti and many other locations. |
